(I always fell in the pit during Pitfall) Heck I played around 100 hours in this before I even figured out how to work the charge albeit poorly but I do it now.
I hardly ever use the skills as it seems to be a timing thing and my sense of when to time sometihng stinks. Well to put it bluntly I have no clue what I'm doing.
Then again why are you using infantry against them, that's what you have cavalry for.
